  Pantone Institute is setting up color mainstream based on most impactful trends, fashion, occurrences, show-biz or culture in general. For 2022 Very Peri has been chosen reign the color throne.  

The choice is never random – this time PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri goes along the line of global changes and is meant to carry a new optimistic perspective. The tint itself has been risen to symbolize the transformation – including the growth of engagement into the metaverse concept (3D reality extension). On the one hand, a fusion of blues and violet links to something modern, technologically advanced and edgy, while at the same time giving a touch of confidence and joy through light and warm accents. The color has been summoned to inspire courageous changes, fuel creativity and charge a new blast of energy.

Very Peri & packaging  

Pantone’s new choice seems pretty much edgy when it comes to packaging. To fit into the trend easier, we’d recommend highlighting this color via the content of the packaging (like balms, bath drops, shower gels) and the labels – not necessarily the walls or caps of the containers directly. Very Peri would look just great inside transparent glass containers, of fitted with silver closures. Or, it would make a showy accent on the background of white jars or bottles.
